Digital prints, video and sound (CD) installation,1999, NSW,Australia

The sound and video components of this installation are extracts from Brook Andrew's science fiction novel, "Souls of Desire" which explores desire, addiction, multiple identities and new technologies in the maddening future of a city based on Sydney. Brook Andrew works in installation format with various mediums including neon light, digital video, photography and sound and uses his mothers language, Wiradjuri (from Western NSW). Brook also writes cultural theory and works with museum collections to create installations commenting on museum culture and the display of Aboriginal cultural objects.
