Knowles' sound installation is an assemblage of audio snapshots of the contemporary urban sonic environment which will document for future listeners the overall background tones and ambience of this place at this time. Chris Knowles is a creative director and producer of time-based, graphic and interactive media with applications in interpretative exhibition design. Knowles has designed and created permanent installations for such prestigious locations as the Aboriginal Cultural Centre at Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and the new Museum Victoria.
