Joyce Hinterdingís work with aeriology extends the parameters of electronic art by exploring and creating antennae which receive and transmit low frequency electromagnetic sound waves. Hinterdingís timelapse antenna is both a blueprint of and an actual antenna. Joyce Hinterding has exhibited internationally at Artspace, New Zealand for the Auckland International Artists in Residence program and in Artspace, Sydney, Australia. Joyce Hinterding and artist, David Haines recently completed an artist in residency project commissioned by Contemporary Arts Services Tasmania in a lighthouse in South Bruny Island, Tasmania.
