Curated by Emma McRae for the 2006 Sydney Film
Festival this diverse program of Australian digital shorts
showcases the
high standard of work being produced locally. From
mobile phone mania
and fart jokes to fictional worlds of ruthless oppression
and origami gangster film noir, this selection of
works moves beyond
a focus on technique to showcase some of the humorous,
tragic and touching stories of Australian digital creators.
The
program includes the works of Thomas Fraser, Andrew Buchanan,
Nathan Jurevicius, Andrea and Craig Brookes, the Lycette Brothers,
Fergus Donald, Daniel Sneddon,
Hafiz Zamri,
Tim Henderson, Kate
McCartney and Thomas Leung.
