EXPERIMENTA: where creativity and technology meet

RE:SEARCH :: Art Collaboration between Australia and Japan
 > 25 November - 25 December 2006

SendaiFor this collaborative project between Experimenta Media Arts (Australia) and Sendai Mediatheque (Japan), four Australian and three Japanese artists have been invited to the Miyagi prefecture to develop site-related new works for an exhibition in November at Sendai Mediatheque. The theme of the exhibition is Ideal City.

The works in the exhibition will reflect the artists' search for evidence of the ideal city within a local context (Sendai). The artists will all work with video, photography, sound and other interactive screen-based media to create large-scale artworks.
