Recent research into corporate involvement in the arts has focused on the need for creative partnerships – standard sponsorship models are becoming less relevant as business and industry seek quantifiable involvement in their support for the arts. Experimenta’s New Visions commissions allow artists to collaborate with industry partners to create innovative opportunities for developing and resourcing the production of new work and finding meaningful frameworks for collaboration between business and the arts sector in the new media arena. This session will look at a number of projects developed over the past year by new media artists working with specific Industry Partners.
