Experimenta House of Tomorrow (2004-2005)

Experimenta House of Tomorrow toured in 2004–2005.

Experimenta’s first International Biennial of Media Art presented twenty-six artworks, as well as 4 associated projects and an extensive cinema program.

Experimenta House of Tomorrow explored a new world of mightlihoods; of future dreaming, of future fear and future fun.

It asked, “how much do our fantasies of the
future shape its design?”
It asked, “what does the home become when you never need to leave it?”
It asked, “will your home still be a reflection of your personality when it’s got a mind of its own?”
It asked, “where’s my robot housemaid?”
It asked, “are we there yet?”
