Access

At Experimenta we are committed to ensuring access and inclusion throughout our organisation, within our exhibitions, our artistic programs and in our partnerships. It is crucial to us that everyone feels welcome to participate in our range of activities and experiences, barrier free.

We subscribe to the social model of disability. This means we aim to remove barriers that may limit participation – so that anyone can enjoy and participate in the arts. This means we aim to be inclusive and accessible regardless of individual impairment.

On our national tours and major presentations, we work exclusively with access-compliant galleries and venues. We work with leading organisations to create accessible resources, audio guides and events.

As part of our commitment, we are always looking to gain a broader understanding of the barriers people experience. We understand that access is an ongoing process, and welcome any and all feedback, suggestions or concerns. We are here to listen, learn and evolve.
