Wellness Made Together™ is an installation of speculative wellness products that explore mutualism between humans and living technological systems.
The work wonders how trust and care may become infused with technological products to provide new models of coexistence between humans and more-than-humans.
The project questions the extractive nature of our present relationships with both technology and the earth. Can we continue to mine the planet for disposable devices? Or will we need to develop generative living technologies that function in circular and symbiotic ways with our own bodies?
Intelligent, living technologies will change our relationships to our devices and to our sense of self. They will ask us to engage in new and uncharted practices of care and trust with technology, while still navigating digital capitalism.
Wellness Made Together™ uses the spatial narrative of an instore kiosk or popup. It offers ‘wellness on-demand’ via a self-help experience enabling access to customised wellness products.
Wellness Made Together™ is an offering from RLX:tech, a speculative wellness agency founded by Kate Geck in 2015, which provides “wellness on-demand” through customised products.
