Experimenta will be part of this year’s Born Digital Cultural Heritage Conference to discuss the major challenges in curating historic media art. Are the issues with access and exhibition purely technological? Curating Historic Media Art panel will discuss how organisations – Experimenta, Rhizome and the Griffith Museum of Art – have approached these challenges and the significance of historical context.

Born Digital Cultural Heritage is a free online conference hosted by Play It Again, an ARC Linkage project researching the history and preservation needs of 1990’s digital games in Australia. The conference will run between 16–19 February 2022.
