Local Nature Walk ⟶ Tour and Activity, Hobart (TAS)

Hobart locals connected with their surroundings through this in-person guided tour and drawing activity session, hosted by Experimenta Life Forms artists Uyen Nguyen and Matthew Riley, on Sat 1 May 2021.

Guided through the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, Curator of Tasmanian Flora, Chris Lang, meet the group for a 1 hour tour and discussed the uniqueness, diversity and beauty of the native Tasmanian flora.

Back at Plimsoll Gallery with participants shared their experiences and perspectives of the interrelationships of this Botanical Gardens through a series of drawing activities. Lead by the artists, participants produces new character designs and illustrations based on their botanical findings and collected specimens.
